NYLON DOUBLE BRAID Rope

All of our dock lines, anchor lines and fender lines are double braid nylon ropes. Nylon rope will stretch
when a load is applied, the elastic elongation is approx 20%. The main benefit of this property is that
 nylon rope will absorb a certain amount of shock loading at Mooring/Docking and at Anchorage.
It is very important to match the rope Diameter to the boat size. Over size and undersize ropes may not
 protect your craft in adverse conditions.

Nylon Double Braid Rope has a high Tensile (breaking strength) : 3/8 Dia Tensile Strength 5000 lb,
1/2 dia Tensile Strength 8000 lb ,5/8 Dia Tensile Strength 14900 lb, 3/4 Dia Tensile Strength 19000 lb .
7/8 Dia Tensile Strength 26000 lb, 1 Dia Tensile Strength 31000 lb
The approx Working Load Limit is 1/5 of the breaking tensile strength..

We cut the rope to length & Heat Sealed both ends.

This nylon rope is designed for use on Sailboats, Power Boats, Pontoon Boats, All Terrain Vehicles
and Small Aircraft Tie downs.
There are many other uses outside the marine application.
